Jason was raised in an abusive home. Now with a daughter of his own, having witnessed his mother recently decimated by cancer, he starts to see the same symptoms manifest in himself. As his terror grows so does his split with reality, and he soon suspects what his mother passed down may be worse than he fears.
"What are your fears? Not those you tell everyone; Spiders, heights or a zombie hoard. What are your real, deepest fears? That's the question we asked ourselves when writing what became Inheritance. Consequently, it is a story both deeply frightening and extremely personal.
If we succeed in entertaining you, we’re happy to have met the brief, but if Inheritance lingers, leaving you a little shaken, then we’ll feel we've done our job."

THE FILMMAKERS
Writer-Director Anthony Misiano is a multi-hyphenate living in New York City. His last three films, Red Menace, Wendy/Gigi & Part-Time have won multiple awards at festivals worldwide. As an actor he's kept the lights on working in TV, film, commercials & voice over – he likes to think at this point you've seen or heard him somewhere and had no idea. As a director Anthony doesn't believe he has any particular style, yet all his projects tend to look alike which he finds hilarious. He's meticulous and decisive when it comes to filmmaking but always remains open to ideas. Anthony takes his work very seriously, but feels if nobody’s laughing on set, something’s terribly wrong.
Director-Production Designer Tyler A. Wallach was born to a family of artists, musicians and filmmakers who instilled in him a love for storytelling. He enrolled in the School of Visual Arts while working as a professional set dresser. He’s production designed commercials, music videos, feature films and has directed numerous critically acclaimed shorts. In 2015 he founded Red Leaf Film, through which he writes & directs while championing projects by other artists. He’s drawn to character driven stories about the daily struggles of ordinary people, whether the outcome is hilarious, harrowing, or more often, a little bit of both.
